The QHY5-III series camera is the USB3.0 super speed camera with a guide port. It still uses 1.25inch style eyepiece design and it has the adjustable location ring for confocal with an eyepiece. QHY5-III is very tight, but powerful.
QHY5-III has an advanced thermal design. The heat generated by the CMOS sensor is transferred onto the telescope's eyepiece tube. Another part of the heat can be transferred to the heat sink on the location ring and cooled by air.
The software support includes the EZPlanetary SharpCAP FireCapture NativeWDM BroadCast WDM and ASCOM.
The QHY5-III series camera will include QHY5III174, QHY5III224, QHY5III178,QHY5III290 and so on.The production full release is Jan,2016.

QHY5III174 1/1.2inch Exmor sensor, Global shutter. This camera has both color and mono version. QHY5III178 uses IMX178 STARVIS Exmor-R back illuminated CMOS sensor. 6.0mega pixels. This camera has both mono and color version. QHY5III224 uses IMX224 sensor. This sensor has only color version. With extremely low readout noise. The IMX224 sensor is regarded very sensitivity color sensor of SONY. QHY5III290 use IMX290 STARVIS Exmor-R back illuminated CMOS sensor. Extemely readout noise. 1920*1080 full HD resolution. 1/2.8inch. Maybe the mostly sensitivity sensor of SONY at such pixel size.

QHY5-III uses the 5pin LEMO guide port. The camera comes with a 5pin to RJ11 guide cable. Although the cost of the LEMO socket is very high, but it will improve the stability of your systems.
